Several weeks each season we run ‘solo weeks’, ideal for those who are travelling alone. During ‘solo weeks’, you can choose any course that is offered by the host centre during that week. So whether you want to do expert off piste, or learn to ski as a beginner, you can take part. These weeks are usually attended by between 10 and 40 individuals. These trips are not about dating or partying. They are about meeting other likeminded individuals who enjoy snow sports or want to try!
Solo travel is a becoming ever more popular, and there’s a large community of skiers looking for groups to join for ski holidays. It’s a normal catered chalet holiday, except you’d be sharing a room with other solo skiers of the same sex , so keeping the costs down. There’s no compulsion whatsoever on the social side – if you want to ski alone all day that’s great, and if you’d rather join others on the holiday to ski with that’s also great.
There’s a huge range and variety of people who opt for solo skiers holidays. There’s one common thread though – a passion for snow sports and a dislike of single supplements!
